Carolyn Muir, NP

Carolyn Muir, RN, MS, NP has been with Golden Gate Obstetrics & Gynecology since 2005. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Boston College, and received both her master’s degree in nursing and her certification as a women’s health and family nurse practitioner from the University of California, San Francisco.

When Carolyn is not at Golden Gate, she works two mornings a week providing gynecologic services to young women at Hasting’s College of the Law. Carolyn is also an assistant clinical professor at the UCSF School of Nursing and participates in the training and education of advanced practice nurses. With almost 30 years of experience as a registered nurse, women’s health care practitioner and family nurse practitioner, Golden Gate Obstetrics & Gynecology is very lucky to have Carolyn as part of its health care team.

In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with her husband, friends, family and two dogs.
