Judi Ball and Chris Casey are the Obstetrical Coordinator at Golden Gate OBGYN. Both Judi and Chris provide individualized support to patients during their pregnancy, serving as a resource and advocate. Their positions are an essential part of the patient-centered care we provide to patients; offering direct education, information, and serving as an advocate when outsourced specialty care is needed.
Judi has her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Samuel Merritt University and joined Golden Gate in 2016. She has a passion for providing health education, and is particularly interested in women’s health. Judi has spent several years in both the Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum floors at SF General Hospital. Her time caring for patients has inspired her to become a midwife and she is currently a midwifery student at Shenandoah University. Judi resides in San Francisco with her husband and daughter and enjoys running in marathons.
Chris has his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from California State University East Bay and joined Golden Gate in early 2020. From 2005 – 2015 Chris climbed the military ranks while in the US Army and served in several leadership roles. His preceptorship and clinical rotations gave Chris an appreciation for family planning, prenatal care, diagnostic tests and the benefits of the California State Screening Program. Noticing how few patients actually receive proper prenatal care and screening has driven a strong desire to work in the community setting where he can engage patients and help improve both their experience an outcome during their pregnancy journey. Chris enjoys being outdoors with his wife and two young children.
