Ramona is a NP specializing in Women’s Health. Her entire career has been focused on caring for women.
Ramona is from Indiana and obtained her Nursing degree from the University of Indianapolis. She has worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse, Perinatal Educator, opened an Antepartum Testing Unit and was Vice President of Nursing for a company focused on the care of high-risk pregnant women in the home.
It was after these experiences that led her to pursue a Nurse Practitioner Degree from Harbor-UCLA in Los Angeles. She also earned her Master of Science Degree in Women’s Health for California State University in Long Beach.
It was working as a Nurse Practitioner where she found her true passion in caring for women of all ages in the outpatient setting.
She started at Golden Gate in 1996.
In her spare time, she works as an active volunteer for Westie Rescue and Placement of Northern California. She loves spending time with her Westies, playing tennis with her husband and traveling.
