Casey Romano is a nurse practitioner specializing in obstetrics and gynecology.  She practiced obstetrics and gynecology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC prior to moving to San Francisco in 2018. She enjoys working with women throughout their lifespan, providing both gynecological and obstetrical care.

Born in Vermont, she studied neuroscience at Middlebury College prior to receiving her Master’s in Nursing from Yale University. She is certified as both a women’s health nurse practitioner as well as an adult primary care nurse practitioner, by the National Certification Corporation and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, respectively.

During her time at Yale, Casey worked as a registered nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital caring for gynecologic oncology, post-surgical, and antepartum complication patients.   After completing her master’s degree, she worked at a community health center offering primary care services to her patients prior to pursuing her passion of practicing obstetrics and gynecology at Georgetown University Hospital. While at Georgetown, Casey provided prenatal and gynecological care to her patients. She also taught clinical skills to nurse practitioner students at Georgetown University, George Washington University, and Simmons College.

In her spare time, Casey spends time with her husband and family exploring San Francisco. She enjoys alpine skiing, running, hiking, and traveling.
