Dr. Karen Callen is a senior partner at Golden Gate Obstetrics & Gynecology joining the practice in 1989. She specializes in obstetrics, gynecology and preventative medicine, and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Callen attended medical school at Tulane University and completed her residency training at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. In addition to her leadership role at Golden Gate Ob/Gyn, she sits on the California Pacific Medical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Executive Committee. Dr. Callen is an associate clinical professor at UCSF Medical Center and has a strong commitment to teaching medical students and residents in training and mentoring her junior partners.

In her spare time, Dr. Callen enjoys reading, hiking with her dog and spending time with her husband and two sons. She is originally from Northern California and currently lives in Mill Valley.
