Dr. Mary Ulrich joined the team at Golden Gate Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2019. She has been in practice in San Francisco since 2008 and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She enjoys partnering with patients in their prenatal care with a focus on their unique needs, as well as providing longitudinal care to women through gynecology.
Born in the East Bay and raised in Arizona, Dr. Ulrich studied psychology at the University of Arizona as a Flinn Scholar. She attended New York University School of Medicine and completed her residency training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. She was thrilled with the opportunity to move back to Northern California when her training was completed.
Dr. Ulrich has been active with a variety of professional pursuits over the past several years, including serving on the Perinatal Quality Committee and as a Physician Champion for the Perinatal Safety Program/Team STEPPS at California Pacific Medical Center. She has personal interest in humanism and professionalism in medicine and has enjoyed teaching medical students from UCSF and Dartmouth.
In her spare time, Dr. Ulrich enjoys spending time with her husband and three children hiking, snowboarding and traveling, though most days are filled with playing Legos, reading Harry Potter and juggling (life, not bowling pins).
